Around the World in 80 Days [71-80]

This was it, the final sprint. Canada, Czech, Cambodia, Italy, Egypt, Jamaica, Wales, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Bosnia. Ten for ten. Lot’s of eating and a cheeky trip away with the girls to feel the excitement of travel again. What I time my little taste buds have had jetting across the globe. I’m almost sad it’s all coming to an end. I’ve learnt a lot and have some great memories… but boy I am going to be ready to get on a plane and adventure for real.

Canada

Went to Canada and had some poutine. This was a no brainer… hot chips, gravy and cheese. We tackled this one for housemate night this week. Picked up some chips from the local fish and chip shop, then slaved over some gravy… Ok not really, we cheated and got a microwave gravy pouch. Then finished with mozzarella instead of curds, because curds are not a thing in Australia. Talk about comfort food for winter and so easy too. So easy in fact we were questioning why we hadn’t got on this band wagon earlier. Then of course we realized that we like our unclogged arteries and well functioning heart.
