Around the World in 80 Days [57-63]

Malaysia

Sunday lunch was another wild goose chase (if you think back to the Turkey adventures). The day began with the intention of riding to Mermaid to get some Filipino food. Alas I found out it was closed on Sundays (glad I checked). Revised plans had me going to Robina Town centre for a trip to the food court and Venezuela. So I jumped in the car, the hunger starting to set in at this point. I arrived, locate the restaurant and… closed. This time I had a back up plan, which is always wise when one is hungry. I saw a Malaysian Roti place on my way in and it WAS open. Hallelujah! I ordered Roti Murtabak a thin pastry like flat bread filled with spiced beef mince and egg. As always, hunger and struggle increase the yum-ness factor so I definitely enjoyed my complicated lunch.
