Alright it’s just hit me that as I am writing this post I am on day 64 of 80… how can that be? Is it crazy that it actually does feel like I’ve been travelling and I’m getting anxious about the end date approaching? There is still so much to eat! Well I’ve written a list and am pulling out all kinds of moves to get through as many countries as I can. This was such a fun week of eating with friends (cause I can), let me tell you all about it.
Korea
We got ourselves some KFC for house mate night this week and yes you may have noticed that the country I visited was Korea. If your confused that’s because by KFC I am referring to Korean Fried Chicken… duh. Apparently it’s a real thing in Korea, a bit like karaage chicken is a thing in Japan I suppose. Stuck in our isolation ways, we went for the Uber eats option and had it delivered from Supreme Leader known for their Korean Krispy Chicken goodness (ok so they don’t call it KFC.. the Kernel probably wouldn’t have it). It was indeed krispy, far crispier in fact than its American rivals. We got fries and pickled radish as sides and opted for making our own garlic soy and Gotchujang (chili paste) sauce. Was it tasty- yes. Did I feel like a grease bag after-yes.
