Well everyone else seemed to be living large, we were melting away. By the time we got to Lake Como it was heating up with temperatures in the high 30s. So we were really left with no choice but to eat gelato then retreat to the air conditioning when it all became too much.

But there were times when when we braved the heat. Early morning and late evening seemed to be best. Lake Como is in the shape of an ‘L’ and there are different places to stay and visit along the Lake and an assortment of rich and famous to go with it. We hopped on a ferry and cruised past old mate George Clooney’s place… or palace would probably be more appropriate. Then we got of in Bellagio to have wonder.

Bellagio… full of rich people trees and retirees that have too much money to actually know what to do with. There are some sneaky little private spots that just provide some amazing scenery.

We stayed in Como which was a bit of a hub of activity. One such activity is the tram that takes you to some pretty amazing views of the lake. You can also walk (or run) around the lake and peak into some fancy front yards- as you do.
